Fraudulent Due Diligence Email

The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority wishes to advise the following:

It has been brought to CIMA’s attention that an email with the subject: CIMA -Due Diligence & Questionnaire Request, purporting to be from the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (“CIMA”), is being circulated.

The email is sent from kyconnect2@cimamoney.com. However, this is not a valid CIMA email address, and the communication is not from CIMA. Recipients are therefore, advised not to click on any links or attachments within the email.

We can confirm that there have been no security breaches of our systems.

Given the current climate, we urge persons to continue to be vigilant and report any suspect emails of this nature to CIMA at ContactPublicRelations@cima.ky
